On the topic of Pay Per Click, remember that there are advantages to using PPC such as Google Adwords. But also consider diversifying your campaigns. Remember that you are not “buying a link” but you are displaying an advertisement.

PPC is not SEO because it is “paid advertising.” but it can compliment your SEO work nicely so long as you are measuring the exact results and determine you cost per click and cost per lead.

For effective search engine marketing, you need more than just top rankings. Remember to include strong calls to action to compel a response from the reader.

But also remember that people often get accustomed to the same type of terminology if it is repeated over and over again. Practice coming up with new ways to describe a “call to action” so that it still delivers value, but does not get ignored.

The same is true when describing a special bonus or a guarantee. Work to make your “calls to action” memorable. Make them stand out on the page.

For effective search engine marketing, you need more than just top rankings.

Remember to include strong calls to action to compel a response from the reader. What do you want the reader to do once they finish reading your content? You need to clearly build these options into each page and leave nothing to guess work.

Describe what action you would like them to take and never assume that they will just know what to do, because they won’t act unless you spell it out.
