Article Writing Tips – Give More Examples for Readers – SEO Tips # 360

Always remember that People like examples.

One of the best ways to get a particular point across to your readers is to give them examples. Let them know how you and others have benefited from the information, product or service that you are writing about.

Explain in detail what effect it could have on their lives or businesses if they listen to what you have to say. Be helpful and informative. Never assume that your readers will just automatically make a connection, but be descriptive and spell it out so no guess work is required.

Try not to ever hype up your examples to much or they can end up sounding like a sales pitch instead of useful advise.

In time you will find that your readers can honestly get to know you through your writing. But in the beginning, don’t forget to reassure your reader.

When you are offering the solution to a problem in your article be sure to reassure your reader. Let them know that if they follow your advice they can not only solve the problem but they can also avoid it ever happening again in the future.

Some people when they first start writing, only write to sell. But you want your readers to know that you care and you don’t publish things just to try and make a quick buck.

Again use examples to tell them that everything worked out with the problem for yourself and others by using the same advise and reassure and that it will for them too.

Is it wise to buy some text links on high PR Web sites?

Question:

Is it wise to buy some text links on high PR Web sites?

Answer:

Definitely not. I would never purchase a link on someone elses Web site. I advise against buying text links. There are many people who end up paying money for what they think is a “valuable link” never realizing that there are plenty of scams out there that, look like link, behave like a link but are in fact of zero value.

It’s better to focus on building quality links (build them for your visitors) and avoid all manipulations.

TIPS:
If you have a budget to spend money, why not apply it to something that is legitimate Pay Per Click (PPC.) PPC is paid advertising and it can be very complimentary to your SEO work, as long as you monitor your results.

SEO Tips – Pay Per Click ( PPC )

On the topic of Pay Per Click, remember that there are advantages to using PPC such as Google Adwords. But also consider diversifying your campaigns. Remember that you are not “buying a link” but you are displaying an advertisement.

PPC is not SEO because it is “paid advertising.” but it can compliment your SEO work nicely so long as you are measuring the exact results and determine you cost per click and cost per lead.

Search Engine Ranking Fluctuation

When your search engine rankings fluctuate, or even if your site drops from the rankings, don’t panic. Understand that these things happen in this industry, and they WILL happen to you.

They happen to all of us.

What you DON’T want to do is make any changes to your Web pages
because of fluctuations in the rankings or because your site drops out of the rankings. Step back and wait to see what happens.

Monitor your rankings. Watch the industry. Read the news.

In all likelihood, your pages will reappear right back where they should be (or close to those rankings), if you haven’t done anything wrong (such as using spam). Fluctuations in rankings are normal.

Far too many people PANIC in the short term, when they would be wiser
to just take it easy and not start making changes so quickly. Just a word to the wise!

Create Web Design for Customers, Not for you

Remember: when it comes right down to it, “your” Web site isn’t and shouldn’t be designed for YOU. It should be designed for your customers.

What do your customers want to see on your Web site?

As Jakob Nielson of  http://www.useit.com/alertbox/design_priorities.html says, ”You are not the user.”  Web designers spend so much time on things that matter little to the customers. According to Neilson, you need to communicate clearly; provide information the users want; and offer simple page design and navigation.

The above referenced article gives some excellent information that
you’ll want to read.

SEO Tips # 225 :

Write customer focused content that appeals to your audience.

Remember that your Web site should be focused on your audience first and appeal specifically to a niche interest. When writing your Web copy, you need to dialogue in an appropriate tone and format for the right audience.

Some of the most interesting content will have more appeal if it speaks to your audience in terms like: you can, you might, you will, yours, your and you’re INSTEAD of we, ours, we’re, we will, we can, etc.

This is extremely important when working on sales related copy.

Here are 3 elements to keep in mind:

1. Create content that is original and genuinely useful to your visitors.

2. Create high quality content that engages the visitor serves a purpose.

3. Create truly relevant content that satisfies the user’s initial query.
