Write customer focused content that appeals to your audience.

Remember that your Web site should be focused on your audience first and
appeal specifically to a niche interest. When writing your Web copy, you
need to dialogue in an appropriate tone and format for the right audience.

Some of the most interesting content will have more appeal if it speaks to
your audience in terms like: you can, you might, you will, yours, your and
you’re INSTEAD of we, ours, we’re, we will, we can, etc.

This is extremely important when working on sales related copy.

SEO Tips # 90 – Writing the Content

If you write your content so that it naturally “reads very well,” you will naturally earn some bonus for having created quality content.

That I mean content…that reads well to a human being.

Use moderation in everything you do. One of the things you need to understand is that “theme based” search engines like Google, are actually using a measure of artificial intelligence (AI) to measure how well your article “reads” based on the context of your page and all of the overall data that a search engine has gathered concerning a specific topic.

Artificial intelligence better known as LSI or Latent Semantic Indexing is all about how well the the supporting content and text (other than the keyword phrase) matches the theme of your page. The better your content reads to a human being, the better you will tend to do. This is a natural bonus for people who invest their time in creating well- written, useful content that engages the visitor and satisfies the reason why they searched in the first place.

SEO Tips # 84 – Value of Unique Content in SEO

Do you understand that there is a difference between creating “unique content” and
creating “high quality useful content.” Just because your content is “unique” does
not mean that it may be particularly “useful.” Make it your goal to serve up
useful content that actual engages the reader and satisfies their “original search.”

SEO Tips # 70 – Content Freshness and RSS Feed

“Content freshness” refers to how often your Web content gets updated. To put it simply, the more often you add new content to your Web site, you are feeding your visitors new information.

But you are also feeding the search engines new information.

The effect of updating your content will have an impact on several things such as:

* having more visits from search engine spiders on a regular basis.
* having high quality fresh new content also gets your web pages indexed faster if the robots visit more regularly
* having a site that is consistently updated on a regular basis has benefits to both visitor behavior and search engine relevancy.

Now there is a product that gives you the ability to easily add fresh content to your web pages the easy way. It’s about satisfying your viewers AND the search engines… giving them both something they love!

Fresh, original content…through RSS or Really Simple Syndication.

SEO Tips #66 – Content Freshness in Blogging

One of the most misunderstood points of Blogging is concerning your
“content freshness” factors.

Content freshness: Write lots of good interesting content and post
to your Blog consistently. How often? The more often the better.
Just remember that you are writing for your readers who are pinged
when you post a new update. But you are also driving the search
engine robots wild with a blog that seems to continually have new
content on it.

Posting shorter Blog entries on a regular “hourly” basis is even
more effective than posting on a “weekly basis.” It’s not hard to
do once you understand the importance of consistency.

SEO Tips #63 – Importance of Keyword Reseach

Make sure you are aiming at writing high quality content, (content which is well-written and useful to your visitors.) Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence influences, the better quality of content you write for your visitors, the better you will naturally rank in the future.

By the way, here is a tip about gaining visibility to brand new markets, but without doing any keyword research at all. This is a bonus tip that is “beyond SEO.”

I know it sounds strange coming from someone like me, who is constantly testing new keyword research techniques and researching user behavior through “keyword forensics.” But I just thought you should know about this if you have not seen it.

It has absolutely nothing to do with keyword research.
Now you can:

–Gain huge volumes of new highly-targeted traffic
–Do a different type of research to help you attract immediate
traffic and sales (even to a brand new Web site) within 2-3 days.
–Not SEO focused – but it is 100% white hat and safe to do.
–It does not require any advertising involve any PPC or
–Grab the Step by Step Report which is easy to follow – just
follow the checklist.

SEO Tips #61 – Article Marketing

Source : John ( SearchEngineWorkshops)

I am posting this reply that I sent to one of our readers recently
as their seems to be a lot of confusion about duplicate content
penalties.

———Letter—————–

Dear John,

How does writing articles not run into the problem with duplicate
content?

Signed,
(Name withheld)

Dear Reader,

Please let me explain briefly…

Articles are the same as news. They come under the rules that apply
to “syndicated content.”

They are both 100% white hat and search engines understand that
both articles and news are created for the purpose of “syndication.”

Genuine articles are “written” to be published across many Web
sites and they will never be penalized for duplicate content.

Duplicate content penalties primarily are triggered by people who
may, for example only use the same content over and over just
switching out a few keywords but not really writing anything that
is original.

In short, some people are attempting to use the same old content
over and over without ever really creating anything new or original.

If you are looking for short cuts, or grey area stuff, then your
articles will definitely be penalized by the search engines.

But if you want more proof that search engines believe in and support
“article distribution” and understand the value of “syndication,”
then check out the Search Engines “Creative Commons Areas.”

Both Yahoo and Google have Creative Commons areas where they not
only will accept your articles but they encourage others to
“search for” and “use your original articles” so long as they
follow the terms and conditions under the creative common license.

“If” article marketing was “duplicate content” or truly deemed as
Spam, then why would the search engines themselves be offering up
and also encouraging you to publish other peoples work?

I have been “article marketing” for 7 years and my partner
Robin Nobles who is one of the most visible writers in the
southern US, has been article marketing even longer than me.

I’ve seen days where Robin’s articles have reached over 1.5 million
people in just under 48 hours. That is extraordinary impact to a
Web site and it is all 100% white hat and legitimate.

Robin teaches her article marketing techniques as one of our
SEO Mastery Workshop sessions.

We have never had any articles penalized or never had any duplicate
content issues in the last 10 years that we’ve been writing.

Neither have any of our SEO Workshop students ever had any issues
either or we would surely have heard about it. The key is to learn
from someone who knows what they are talking about.

There are so many other people these days offering free advice that
is seeded with information that is “not accurate” or “not tested.”

The one thing we always have done, is we test everything we teach.
We practice what we preach. I hope this helps clarify.

John

———End of reply—————–

Writing genuine, high quality articles will never get you penalized
for “duplicate content” as long as you are doing it correctly. The
search engines understand that both “articles” and “news” are fresh
content that is meant for syndication.

SEO Tips #56 – SEO Importance for Contents

In your last or current project, are you creating content that your visitor will be GLAD that they found? It’s good to examine our own work from time to time. Give it some thought and be brutally honest with yourself.

Are you creating that immediately assists in filling a specific search for information.

-Content of true merit.
-Something useful.
-Content that you can feel proud you created.
-Something helpful.
-Content of a nature that is so helpful, others may even want to
link to it or Blog about it?

Never get tired of exploring new ways to add value to your work and in the future, you’ll notice that much of the junky pages that are thrown together by Spammers in a rush, will simply no longer be able to compete. Not in value, not in ranking and not in productivity.

But the content you create shall stand the test of relevancy for many years.

SEO Tips #49 – Focus to hight quality contents

Focus is to always create high quality, useful content that will please visitors. But your title needs to be compelling and it needs to read well and it should make sense to the reader.

By now we all know the benefit of including a researched keyword phrase in your Title. However, you can also improve your clickthrough ratio with 1 or 2 other elements in the Title too. I say use these, sometimes because you may only want to do this when it makes sense, but it does work if you do it well.
